Arcadia

Founded in 1979 by father-and-son team Wayne and Casey Journigan, Arcadia was built on a shared vision shaped by their early careers as independent furniture sales representatives. That firsthand experience informed a different way of doing business—one centered on listening closely to customers and delivering solutions rather than simply selling products. This approach quickly established the company as a responsive, flexible, and reliable partner in the contract furniture market.

What began as a four-person operation in a 10,000-square-foot facility in Gardena, California, has grown into a company of more than 300 employees operating across 200,000 square feet of combined manufacturing and office space in La Palma, California. Over the decades, we have serviced a wide range of notable clients, including St. Joseph’s Health Systems, Sony Global Headquarters, Coca-Cola, Disney Animation Studio, Andersen Air Force Base, Walgreens, Google, and Marriott Hotel locations.

We actively engage on both local and national community outreach opportunities. Charitable initiatives are guided by the passions and personal involvement of our employees and business partners, with contributions of time, talent, and financial support. Organizations supported include Common Thread for the Cure, Make-A-Wish Orange County Chapter, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, and Orangewood Children’s Foundation, among others.

Within the industry, we maintain long-standing involvement with organizations that support education, innovation and future advancement which includes BIFMA, IIDA, EdMarket and AAHID.

Arcadia operates permanent showrooms at its corporate headquarters in La Palma, California, and at The Mart in Chicago, with additional representation through independently managed showrooms in most major metropolitan areas. This nationwide—and international—presence ensures strong support for designers, dealers, and partners across markets.
